Puplication Requirement

  1. Papers must be well-researched, original (i.e., not previously published), and address contemporary legal, political, economic, and social issues in Nigeria and beyond.
  2. Contributors should provide:
    • A short abstract of the paper, limited to a maximum of 300 words.
    • The title of the paper.
    • Brief personal details.
    • Email and postal addresses.
    • Phone number(s).
  3. Articles should be typed in Microsoft Word on A4 paper, adhering to the following requirements:
    1. Font type: Times New Roman.
    2. Font size: 12 for body text and 10 for footnotes.
    3. Line spacing: 1.5.
    4. Page range: 15 to 20 pages, with corresponding automatic footnotes.
  4. Contributors are required to strictly adhere to the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) Uniform Format and Citation Guide for Legal Research Writing in Nigeria. A soft copy of the guide is available at:

  5. Articles will undergo a peer review process for accuracy and relevance; however, contributors are still responsible for thoroughly proofreading their work before submission.
